Greetings, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the Federation!
While the Federation offers players a wide variety of professions to choose from upon their path of enlisting in Starfleet, there also exists the option to play as an Federation Citizen. Now while the path of becoming a Starfleet Officer is the main theme of this construct, the Federation still officers role-players the option of choosing a more solitary civilian life. Make sure that you head to the Info Desk and choose your character's species. You will need to post your choice within the same thread to make it official. An Admin will approve it after it has been noted.
For those who are wishing to fully embrace the challenge and take full advantage of what this site has to offer enlisting in Starfleet is the first step. Unlock many other places you do not have to fully create your bio before enlisting in Starfleet. We allow players to complete their bios for their characters after they have been accepted into Starfleet Academy. Once you have completed your bio you will need to show under your avatar your characters first or last name. You also have the option of showing both if you prefer.
It is always important to know the steps in order to reach your goals. Here are some highlights...
- Find the Recruiter located upon SOL III and request admission into Starfleet Academy
- Choose and post your character's species and display your chosen Avatar
- Once accepted by SFA work to complete Cadet Bio
- Pledge your commitment to abiding by the Rules of the Federation
- Locate CRS (acronym for Courses) list and choose 3 Courses (3 times) for Starfleet Academy
- Once you have completed 3 Classes One year of class has transpired
- After 3 years you will be given a Final Test and upon successful completion you will Graduate Starfleet Academy
- Receive Ensign Rank and be assigned duties by Starfleet Command
