First I'd like to welcome you to our little comer of the internet Thanks for stopping by. Now that your here., let me tell you a bit about us.
The Federation is a Star Trek inspired forum based RPG. Our story line will loosely follow the Star Trek prime timeline starting in 2295. A few years after the death of James T. Kirk while saving the Enterprise B. Where the story goes from there only Q knows. And he's not in the picture, yet
We are striving to build a site that will immerse you into the world of Star Trek and let you live out your story. We're trying to incorporate as many role playing elements into the game as possible. But keep in mind our site is relatively new and is still under construction. As of this time we are working primarily on Starfleet but will expand in to other parts of the Star Trek universe. Ever dreamed of joining Starfleet and commanding your own Starship? Or maybe the head of Security, Chief Engineering Officer or any other position within Starfleet. You can do that. Starfleet not for you? Would you rather go it alone? Or maybe a small group of you band together and become pirates, mercenaries, traders or miners. We plan on providing you with those choices and more.Please keep in mind this site is still a work in progress. Things are subject to change.
We have so many new things coming into the game. I'll talk about some of them here.
First we are currently working the way players will interact with their crew and ship. Each ship with be divided in to departments. Command, Engineering, Science, Medical, Tactical and Security. Each department will be in control of certain aspects of the ship. Each department will receive rating based on decisions and writing. Every departments rating is the averaged to give a crew efficacy rating that decide how your ship preforms. We are also working on ways the ships and departments can be upgraded through the purchase of new equipment.
There also will be a reward system. Write a good story? Figure a creative way out of a bad situation, or make a creative post. Invite a friend, 2 friends. You could win a reward.
Oh speaking of rewards we're trying to work out special reward and metals for the those who join early and stay active as we build our site. There will be goodies! Maybe even 3d printed metals. Cause watch out, I have a 3D printer and I'm not afraid to use it!
This is just a little taste of what we have planned. So come on in, take a look around and join us on a new adventure. Please keep in mind that some areas are restricted until you reach certain criteria.
The staff will try and give regular updates to what's coming and when. So checking back to see what's new.
